Airports:

Ontinyent is served be two major airports.   From the north we have Valencia airport, which is fairly modern and undergoing some development.   From the south, we have Alicante airport which is quite large and well equipped.   This airport has recently undergone considerable re-development.  

Airlines that support these airports are:

Monarch Airlines; Fly into Alicante    from London, Luton, Gatwick, East Midlands and Birmingham.   They have an inflight service and are very competitive.   Link: http://www.monarch-airlines.com

Easyjet; fly into Alicante and Valencia from a number of UK airports.   There are NO inflight service, other than what you can purchase from the hostess trolly.   prices are always very competitive especially on unsociable flight times.    Easyjet passengers get reduced car hire rates with Euro Car.    Link: http://www.easyjet.com

BMI Baby; flying to Alicante from a number of UK airports.   No in flight service with very competitive prices.   This is particularly so out of the usual summer season and school holidays.   Link: http://www.bmibaby.com

Car Hire:

Both Alicante and Valencia have a number of car hire agencies operating from the airport.   The usual ones being, Hertz, (http://www.hertz.com).    Avis, (http://avis.com).   Car Jet, (http://www.carjet.com).   There are also others; eg;   In Alicante there is Lara Cars, (http://Laracars.com), and Aqua Cars, (http://www.aquacars.com). which are very competitive with their price index.
